Diego Parada Herrera

CEO

Diego Parada Herrera

Diego is co-founder of VUELA. He was the first president of the Foundation and has been the CEO for more than 10 years. He studied Communication and a Master's degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainability. He has worked in video production, marketing and microfinance and is responsible for VUELA doing as much good as possible.

Fernanda Cedillo Ronquillo

Fernanda Cedillo Ronquillo

Fernanda is responsible for ensuring that VUELA is managed in the most professional, orderly and transparent manner possible. She studied International Relations and has worked in agencies and consumer companies.

Iñigo España King

Program Coordinator

Iñigo España King

Iñigo is responsible for ensuring that each of VUELA's programs function with the highest quality and impact. He coordinates the teams of volunteers to achieve this and follows up with the children we serve and their families. He studied Social Responsibility and has experience in sales and various social organizations.

José Andrés Olvera Servín

Operations Coordinator

José Andrés Olvera Servín

Andrés is responsible for the operation and expansion of VUELA in order to better help more and more children. He coordinates volunteering, impact measurement and the Foundation's service to beneficiaries. He studied Entertainment Business Management and has worked in the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a consultant.

The CEO is responsible for managing the overall operations and resources of VUELA. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors, who together provide strategic direction and oversight.

Alejandro Boué

Chairman of the Board
He is an Industrial Engineer, graduated from Universidad Anáhuac and holds a Master in Business Administration from IPADE. He has a professional career of 11 years in which he has worked in different commercial and marketing positions in the Chemical Industry, focused on several markets, highlighting a wide experience in the automotive industry, electronics and in the industrial and architectural coatings market, working for Dow, where he currently serves as Marketing Manager for Latin America with the electronics, consumer and automotive markets under his responsibility. He is co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of Fundación Vuela, an institution that seeks to impact the lives of children with cancer and their families and has served as an associate and board member since its founding in 2012.

Begoña Goyeneche

Secretary of the board / Head of the program committee
Graduated in Graphic Design from Universidad Anáhuac; since she was a child she has had a great interest in painting and artistic expression. She has a diploma in Art Psychotherapy from the Mexican Institute of Art Psychotherapy (IMPA) and has taken courses and perfected her technique with renowned artists such as Weiquing Yuan at The National Academy in New York as well as intensive courses with Patricia Guzmán, Diana Carolina Lopez, Ana Laura Salazar, Esther Sámano, among others. Since 2019 she has been teaching art and creativity at the Irish Women's Institute, in the Diploma AD: Interior Design by Condé Nast College Americas and continues to teach art classes in her studio. She is currently a Board Member of Fundación Vuela, where she has been a volunteer since 2015 getting involved in different areas and projects of the Foundation.

Rodrigo Sanchez

Treasurer of the Board / Head of the Finance Committee
Rodrigo is one of the co-founders of VUELA. He holds a degree in Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana and passed CFA Level I and CAIA Level I. Rodrigo has 10 years of experience in valuation and transactions in private equity, public markets and real estate. He currently works at Kans Capital, as Vice President of Investments. He started his career at Morgan Stanley. He was directly involved in two IPO processes that successfully went public. At Mira, a real estate investment fund, he was in charge of the valuation and was part of the negotiation of dozens of projects around the country. Prior to joining Kans, he was part of Acamar Partners, a Miami-based team that raised a $300 million SPAC on Nasdaq.

Rodrigo Verduzco

Member / Head of the Governance Committee
Co-founder of RUUT, an "investment platform for non-investors", with over 37,000 active users and managing +US$1.7 million in Assets Under Management. With a successful entrepreneurial track record, the candidate has raised over $2.5 million in capital from local and global venture capital firms, demonstrating leadership skills in managing a team of 20 people and establishing a multinational and regulated corporate structure. Served as a fundraising leader at Incode Technologies, contributing significantly to a >US$100 million Series B round of financing, as well as over 5 years in the traditional finance industry (investment banking and equity research). In particular, he plays a role as a board member of Vuela Fundación, where he has been a volunteer for over 9 years.

Brian Zaldivar

Member / Head of the legal committee
He has a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana, and has a professional career of ten years, in which he has worked as an intern, senior lawyer and associate in notary's offices, law firms and companies. He has worked in different branches of law, among which Civil Law, Commercial Law and Foreign Trade stand out. He currently works as a corporate lawyer in a company where he handles matters related to consulting and litigation of matters related to Civil Law, Commercial Law, Customs Law, Foreign Trade and Intellectual Property. He is co-founder of Fundación Vuela, in which he has served as associate, vice-president and currently counselor, while he has been in charge of the various legal matters presented throughout the years within the Foundation.

Andres Tapia

Member / Finance Committee
Andres is an analyst at Nexxus Capital for the Mezzanine and Equity debt funds being part of debt transactions for +US$50 million and managing a portfolio company achieving a US$25 million divestment and equity transactions for +US$50 million. Prior to joining Nexxus in 2023, he worked as an Investment Banking and Financial Consulting analyst at Alvarez & Marsal where he was part of several projects in the areas of consumer, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and infrastructure. Andres holds a degree in Financial Management from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (graduated with honors) and passed the CFA Level 1. He is a member of the board of Vuela foundation being part of the governance and finance committee, volunteering since 2019.
